How To Switch from Desktop to IRL While Streaming (No Ending Stream)
Switch between OBS on desktop and IRL on your phone without ending the stream using a cloud-hosted server.

Step 1:Use a Cloud Hosted Streaming Server
A cloud-hosted streaming server lets you switch between desktop and IRL without ending the stream.
On streamable.run, click Start Server to launch your instance and open the control panel + ingest list.
Step 2:Copy the OBS SRT ingest URL
In the ingest list, open the OBS ingest and click SRT.
Copy the full SRT URL.
Step 3:Connect OBS to Streamable
In OBS, go to Settings > Stream and set Service to Custom.
Paste the SRT URL into Server and click OK, then Start Streaming.
You should see bitrate activity in the Streamable ingest monitor.
Step 4:Switch to your desktop scene
In the control panel, click the OBS ingest scene.
Hit Start Stream to send your desktop feed to viewers.
Step 5:Connect your phone (Moblin)
Open the Moblin ingest and scan the QR code with your phone camera.
Tap Go Live in Moblin and confirm the bitrate shows up in Streamable.
Step 6:Switch between desktop and IRL anytime
Use the ingest buttons to switch between OBS (desktop) and Moblin (IRL).
You can close OBS, leave the house, and keep streaming from your phone without ending the stream.
Step 7:Handle signal drops without ending the stream
If your phone loses signal, Streamable switches to your ingest offline scene or clips player automatically.
When signal returns, it switches back to your phone ingest so viewers never get disconnected.
